Deeply disappointing although expected verdict. Vigilantism given a huge boost today.

The point is that vigilantism is not self defense.

You are either very stupid( I doubt) or extremely dishonest.
You literally are calling putting out a fire “vigilantism”. In a city where the police let it burn for two nights in a row, you are calling a kid who went to put out fires and had a rifle for his protection (which it turns out he needed thanks to Rosenbaum) a vigilantly. Really?

Isn’t rioting a form of vigilantism? “No justice no peace!” chants when smashing private and government property has a sense of group vigilantism.

The point is when Kyle shot those three degenerates, it WAS self defense.

The people who were shot aggressed upon the one who shot them, directly, while he was retreating. That's not vigilantism. That's self defense. But let's explore this. How would you characterize rioting and looting third parties in response to the actions of government agents?

Kyle was not engaging in vigilantism. He was acting in self-defense. If you think differently, ask yourself what you would do (or would want to do) if a bunch of thugs were chasing you with guns, or trying to bash your head in with a skateboard.
How is it vigilantism? His hometown, where majority of his family lives has burnt for days. He was chased after, tripped and fell, hit by skateboard, kicked and was pointed at by a gun. How is that vigilantism?

The point you missed is when he was being chased and attacked w/a loaded handgun being pointed in his face, being smacked in the head w/a skateboard
I don’t get your point.
So you have no point.
