What happened to raising the minimum wage to $15? There’s currently no place in America where someone can rent a two bedroom apartment working 40 hours a week at minimum wage job. $780B/yr to the military … yet we can’t provide our own people with a way to make a decent living.

Uh, no. If you make minimum wage you should not rent a 2 bedroom. In the halcyon days of the early ‘80s I worked fast food, min wage, and rented a room for $200/mo w 4 roommates. We still had $ left over for kegs on weekends and legendary amounts of Humboldts finest.
