What happened to raising the minimum wage to $15? There’s currently no place in America where someone can rent a two bedroom apartment working 40 hours a week at minimum wage job. $780B/yr to the military … yet we can’t provide our own people with a way to make a decent living.

$15 per hour want do it either, we need more then that in order to keep up. Utilities are outrageous, food and household needs are off the chain. Then you need car insurance to get to work, those prices is as high as a car payment and gas ⛽ damn.

That's dandy and all but mom and pop businesses would have to raise the 9.99 large pie to 16.99 and draft beers etc and all other menu items to pay workers 15.00 hr. If we do that we wont have customers or a business within a year. last 20 months of no staffing. We might be done4

Democrats could have gotten $11/hr, but they're not actually about changing anything. @Fwd_Party
It's unconscionable!

Still waiting on that public option, too.

The connection you make is obvious. If people have other options for income and healthcare and education, why would they join the military? This we take away those options to drive up military recruiting via desperation.

I remember that this was supposed to happen and did drawings about this and added them to discussions but the change that is needed has not happened. I think that the mess of the previous administration has made it hard for the current one.
