In the richest country in the world, no one needs to live in poverty; no one needs to be homeless; no one needs to be uneducated; no one needs to be underfed; no one needs to be without healthcare, clean water or healthy food. Every one of those results from bad policy decisions.

Not only is America the richest country in the world it's also the greediest and the stingiest Add to it, they've convinced a large swath of people, that giving to the less fortunate is bad - even if they and/or their relatives fall into that category

Very true. Bad policies based on fear and greed.

The USA is NOT the richest country in the world. It's $28.9 trillion in debt.

But, all these inhumane things occur daily in all countries, especially rich ones. IF there weren鈥檛 excessively greedy and selfish people who do not want to share evenly, then perhaps a vast improvement could be achieved in all those areas you mentioned. Avarice rules!!

What about those that choose to be? People that don鈥檛 take school seriously will be uneducated. Those that have mental issues may find a having and maintaining a house doesn鈥檛 work for them. Healthcare requires prioritizing it over other necessities, not everyone wants to.
