If world leaders think COP26 was "a good step" because too many climate scientists, commentators, NGO leaders spin it and pat them on the back, then we'd have a double failure. We are out of time, folks. I wish I could make the world realize what an emergency we are truly in.

You've done and continue to do an excellent job, Peter. The problem isn't people not realizing what's happening; the problem is institutional resistance to changing things in time. But the consciousness is rising and it IS going to bust a whole in the wall of all that resistance.

I hope so. That would be ideal.. We really NEED to break through that wall. People REALLY need to understand how bad this is .. what those charts mean in the "real" that people post , and how the current systems of power will ABSOLUTELY fail us.

Marianne, many people don't realize about the institutional resistance, nor how fundamentally our way of life is flawed. It's not just something superficial that we can fix with a new election. Markets cause inequality, which causes corrupt plutocracy. End markets; we must share.

I live in Salt Lake City, UT and a lot of ppl are not hip to what is happening. Whether outright disbelief or not understanding how grave the situation is.
