I just want everybody to be free to live their lives as normal, without discrimination, coercion, or segregation. How on earth is this 'controversial'?

When the Dec of Ind declared "all men are created equal" & endowed by God w/ "inalienable rights to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness," that was a radical challenge to the aristocratic paradigm of the day. It was radical then and for the very same reason it's radical today

I always say that about her. I don't think she realizes she's one of very few honest liberals who is very honest about her beliefs and if everyone followed the ideology, it might work. But thats not reality. Kind of like her crystals. But at least she's honest.

It was more of a metaphor for your way of thought, which I find to be very positive. I didn't mean it as an insult. I actually like your view on life and politics. I may not find it realistic, but I think its a positive voice in a negative crowd.
