The #COP26 outcome is a compromise, reflecting the interests, contradictions & state of political will in the world today. It's an important step, but it's not enough. It's time to go into emergency mode. The climate battle is the fight of our lives & that fight must be won.

In order to accomplish what needs to be done, we have to proactively start taking Capitalism off of life support and give it a proper burial. We must have true Social Democracy and Ecosocialism moving forward. But there will be violent resistance and we must be ready.

Marianne, understand that comprehensive solutions will require energy investment. That includes use fossil fuels. The rise in energy prices will kill industries that are manufacturing products incorporating efficient use designs. If prices continue to rise we will lose manuf.
