Sorry to tell you this, Marianne, but the climate crisis is over. Any solution needed to be implemented 30+ years ago. And it needed to be led by global polluters like the US, EU, Russia, China, India, etc. Not Costa Rica and Denmark...

I applaud them for trying to do something. But saying it's stopping the climate crisis in its tracks, or that that can even BE done, is just deluding innocent people into accepting half-measures.

Collapse is inevitable. At this point we need to be focusing on a just collapse. Cutting consumption, or supply, isn't enough. We need to be preparing for doomsday.
