Spend tons of money on snake oil so the wackos think the weather is no longer being changed by humans. Problem solved. 😎

We cannot quit producing fossil fuels until we have truly reliable systems of energy. Since the electrical grid comes from 60% fossil fuels, we still need to extract them. This is not a light switch.

No #ClimateAction will be done by @TheDemocrats including those that you CONTINUE to endorse despite 50+ yrs of evidence that they’re incapable of doing anything against their corporate masters’ wishes!💯👎🤔

Except that people are still consuming fossil fuels at a rapid clip. Until that is addressed this is a recipe for extremely high and unstable energy prices

How do we stop fossil fuels before we have renewables ready to replace? We will be cold, sick hungry, and poor. The worst hurt will be the poor and middle class.

Costa Rica and Denmark have a new plan to save the world ... STOP EXTRACTING FOSSIL FUELS ... The premise of the alliance is simple. Countries must create a plan to end fossil fuel extraction.

This is impractical. We are not going to stop using petroleum. The best thing we can do to reduce global warming is invest in nuclear power, especially if people think we are going to transition to electric vehicles.
Replying to @marwilliamson
No mention of resurrecting nuclear power, which would certainly have an effect on the supply side.

That's the only real situation. Stop extracting it. Go full electric through massive subsidies. Invest in carbon capture to mitigate biosphere damage.

Without stopping capitalism, this is still just a bandaid.
