I am surprised this ended up on MSM at all. Props to @Lawrence (who is coincidentally on his way out the door at @MSNBC, btw) for bringing the spotlight to this grave miscarriage of "justice".

@MSNBC @TheLastWord Agree with you 💯% Marianne! Lawrence O’Donnell’s segment about @SDonziger #HumanRights lawyer and #Enviromental activist is splendidly impressive! Steven sitting 🪑 in prison without a jury trial 😳 because of @chevron’s toxic oil spillage in #ecuador?

How I met @SDonziger MW’s podcast podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas… “Amazon Chernobyl," largest environmental disaster you’ve probably never heard of… Billions of gallons of toxic waste dumped into Amazon by @chevron leaving indigenous Ecuadorians living in a sea of pollution. #MSNBC

#FreeDanielHale I have no idea why everybody else seems to have forgotten about that whistleblower and patriot.

This is Important ... More great National Press Coverage!

Sadly, MSNBC has positioned itself as the "boy who cried wolf" (much like Fox on the Republican side) that a lot people that would agree with this corporate overreach is wrong will just assume that this is some kind Democratic spin... 🤦‍♂️

Maddening that these corrupt media outlets sat on this until after the trial. Absolutely intentional cover for Chevron and the industry.

One of the worse cases of corporate/judicial corruption I have ever seen. Free Donziger. Reinstate the financial award to the Ecuadorian people harmed.
