The subsidies are for necessary energy and power uses that have advanced our society to where we are today. You leave that part out.

No they’re not. Fossil fuel companies make multi billions of dollars in profit, don’t need these subsidies, and do more now to desecrate the earth as to advance society. The subsidies do not “advance society;” they’re a result of corporate donations, the spawn of a corrupt system

You should check the efforts in modern production and extraction being invested in by these companies compared to other nations. If we just turn off FF overnight or even within a decade have you looked into the fossil fuels still needed to build out the proposed green platform?

There is also the matter of density in materials for energy output. The science and impact cost of going fully green is simply not there yet. Great theory, but not happening anytime soon.
