What happens in this same poll when you explain to people how those things will be paid for and not just asked in a pie in the sky dream world where money doesn't mean anything and everything is free magically?

Afghan economy & Taliban are facing extreme difficulties, with Western sanction & their money of US$10 bn being frozen by US banks. Afghanistan just exported 45 tons of pine nuts to China with a chartered plane. Taliban officials went to the airport to see the plane take off

The problems is those polls are taken in the abstract without cost. Very few American's would support any of these items if (for example) it meant 100% or more increase in their taxes. In politics, everything in life can be articulated in some type of cost-benefit analysis.

Well, they do keep voting for the same thing expecting different results. Nor do they read beyond their own decided narratives. Not the only problem, but definitely a huge part of it. Don’t understand how you can’t see that at the very least.
