There’s something strange about *celebrating* the fact that we got it together enough to fix our roads and bridges. Shouldn’t that be something that in an advanced civilization you do repeatedly and like clockwork - the way they feed the war machine?

But did we actually do it? Lol that’s not enough money to fix every road and bridge in there. They have it though. It just went to destroying other countries instead. Killing others kills us. Period.

Yeah but it's a trillion dollar bill for routine Repairs? Not like clockwork. Absolutely nothing new will come of this. And that is tragic. No Climate infrastructure. No Comms improvement.

That's not what they are celebrating. It's all the SALT tax cuts and the gutted social programs they are excited about. Another successful beat down of the working class, rendering us all impotent and dependant on our shitty jobs and equally shitty employer based Healthcare

Yes ... Every year there should be money allocated for roads and bridges ... It's called ... MAINTENANCE! ... On the other hand, Defense likes to spend tens of billions on planes like the B-1 Bomber that, when fully loaded, can't even climb high enough to fly over the Rockies!

It's sad, but in the new participation-trophy society we live in, there's too much fanfare for things that should just be done in the name of common sense. Maintaining our roadways, etc shouldn't be an argument between parties. Just do it!

They couldn’t even that that much. They did get tax breaks for the rich tho. #DemsAreReallyRepublicans
