The American people are not the problem. The problem is that our political system no longer serves the will of the people.
88% of the American people support our efforts to lower prescription drug costs — 88%! Is it just me, or is that an overwhelming majority of this country? I say we get this done. truthout.org/articles/poll-f…

If 88% of people support Bernie, why can he only get 30% of vote ??

This makes no sense. If people aren't the problem, how come they keep hiring (electing) politicians who do not serve the peoples' will? If you keep hiring the same driver to take you to the airport & he always takes you to the train station, whose fault is it you miss your plane?

I beg to differ the American people are the problem because they voted the corrupt politicians into office.

The will of the People ... based on polling ... is for the ... DEMOCRATIC PROGRESSIVE AGENDA!

Disagree. Nothing wrong with democracy. If big money, rich folk, corporations have too much influence in our political system, it’s only because the American people, voters, consistently install candidates who support it. They can change it any time they like.

Right. It serves the will of corporations that say the right things publicly while they rape the working class Americans that they depend on. And yet, your party is interested in allowing them to continue to dictate policy by instituting mandates on their behalf. What a joke.

Of course the people are the problem. The power for change, has always been in the hands of the People.

Excellent and accurate description of the current situation - all too often elected officials look after themselves first, look no further than Mr. Manchin.

Unregulated capitalism with multinational corporate monopolies is just incompatible with democracy. Especially with legalized bribery funding campaigns.
