Huge institutional forces are arrayed against the prospect of long term survival for the human race. It’s not mean people who don’t care; it’s just unconscious people who don’t see. And they will not change the path they’re on. It’s we who need to forge a new one.

It's not that they don't care. It's that their scope of caring is reserved for the small tribe/community that surrounds them. It's easy to be apathetic to suffering you don't directly experience or has effects on people you know. The only cure is to force them to suffer also

It's broken people who can't see—half-brings who have had their very spirit reduced to means for the system/status quo... from the very top of the economy to the very bottom.

Because when people give themselves over to a corporate identity or to a political identity they are literally giving life to an abstract concept that does not need to be there drink clean water or eat healthy food.
