Shouldn鈥檛 the goals of protestors be winning people over? Not pushing them away? This + the Sinema protests are unlikely to change any hearts and minds and more likely to harden Manchin/Sinema in their positions. Performative protesting for the sake of viral clips.

also, protests are meant to be controversial and spark important conversations, this is exactly how we should protest, especially against people that do everything they possibly can to screw us over

She doesn't care about that. Her job is to use her influence to get people to go back to doing the things politicians were ignoring.

Previous forms of redress before unions and civil disobedience and such involved beating the owners to death in front of their family. Being polite hasn't worked much lately. I think a lot of the rulers forgot the former used to happen.
