Shouldn鈥檛 the goals of protestors be winning people over? Not pushing them away? This + the Sinema protests are unlikely to change any hearts and minds and more likely to harden Manchin/Sinema in their positions. Performative protesting for the sake of viral clips.

Marianne, the Sunrise Movement aren't a value add to the cause. They lean more toward domestic terrorist than activist. They actively use force to rob people of their agency and autonomy which is immoral.

With a senior communications advisor this out of step it's honestly amazing Pete Buttigieg made it as far as he did. Environmentalists have been asking nicely for 40 years and it got us nowhere. We spend less than 1% of GDP on renewables, despite knowing how critical they are.
