"Moderates" block a "moderate" President's agenda and then other "moderate" candidates lose so, obviously, progressives are to blame.

I'm progressive, but Canadian, I have a question, if progressive policy is popular with 55-70% of Americans, depending on the source, and America is a democracy, why isn't this reflected in election results? WTF is wrong?

Because money has so corrupted American politics that our elected representatives bow more to the will of their corporate donors than to the will of their constituency.
