The thinking for decades has been that as long as they raised enough money it wouldn't really matter what people wanted. Perhaps that will start to change now. Serving the people more than serving the donors would be a paradigm shift at this point

Someone probably said this same thing 100 years ago.
No one speaks of peace. Of weapons of mass distraction. Nor of the scoundrels at the head of climate crisis initiatives at the UN Or how youth R normalized 2 sit in chairs all day. No civil break. Then on busses. Normalizing oppression. Beneath the thoughts of important people.
