This says something very important: that how people *felt* about something *was* the disaster. That's why people with little emotional intelligence - i.e. most politicians & pundits - don't have a clue what is happening in this country.
Many disasters followed the 2008 financial crisis. But possibly the worst was the mass popular disillusionment that resulted from Barack Obama’s failure to help the victims and punish the wrongdoers — a failure that led to Donald Trump. jacobinmag.com/2021/11/meltd…

This is such a disappointing take. It is like you have no *serious* analytical framework for the reality of political-economy beyond, what??? A Course in Miracles? I really thought you were better than this. How they "felt" WAS THE DISASTER. #FFS

Emotional intelligence, which is amorphous term, does not line the pockets of pols and pundits. It’s the trade of philosophers and lyricists, which aren’t generally lucrative.

Right... they know... Build Back Better? Better for who? The Great Reset insanity? Where in 9 years, we will own nothing and be happy? Who will own it?

What Libs are worried about: "Let's Go Brandon" What Moms and Dads are worried about: double the price of gas and groceries, kids getting brainwashed, crime-ridden cities That's why the election wasn't even close.

You have been warning that ... the most potentially dangerous people are those that are struggling to survive ... many of them supported Trump ... and ... many made their presence felt in this last election ... as you say ... our current field of politicians are clueless!

Empathy and emotional intelligence agree. And of course love. Typing this seems odd, as if love is radical maybe it is & we need to normalize this just a shift in perspective here and there. A kind word/deed here and there. As you say~love

I'm afraid that, even with that emotional intelligence, politicians and pundits still couldn't see what the donor class pays them not to see.
