In dark & cold Alaska oil and gas are needed to keep us alive. Solar and wind are not feasible here at scale Until and unless AK goes nuclear, we need gas and oil simply to survive, to maintain a modern, humane standard of living for the people here.

We a long ways from transition to other fuels like Bio-fuel from Hemp which Ford's first car was designed to run on. I see a lot of good worker owned jobs coming to Farm States like I-owe-wa? with the paper, plastics and textiles we can also produced from Hemp.
