In the US, parents and family are federally protected under the 1993 Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to go on maternity or family leave after the adoption or birth of a child.

I think we should have maternity & paternity leave because that is really good for children at the stage to have a sense of family imprinted & it helps to have two people tending to all the work. I also think everyone should have 2 months paid vacation per year.
