I predict something important will happen in Glasgow 11/ 5. Neoliberal establishment won't be able to get away with performative half-measures this time. They won't just be met by an army of "protesters;" they'll be met by the power & force of the desire for a survivable future.

Nothing good might happen INSIDE the hall, but outside it is where the action is now. The outlier force is maturing, almost at a critical mass. People are realizing the old system is willing to just let us all die..the signs are everywhere. And from that something new will emerge

I hope one piece of that "something new" will be determination to wind down the entire fossil fuel industry and end the extraction and burning of oil, gas, and coal. We could nationalize all the fossil fuel companies to make that happen faster.
