Oh my God I love her.
Fossil Fuel companies are sitting on 13.9 million acres of our federal land they aren't even using—and they want even more. If each acre were a grain of rice, that would be 479 pounds. I demonstrated at a hearing with Big Oil ⬇️

Cheap energy saves lives. That is oil and other means frowned upon by green energy proponents. Estimated 6 million a year are killed because of green energy policies. That's poor people, mostly in Africa.

Realize the government gets a big check for that leased land, whether they use it or not. It isn’t the lease that’s the problem. If you want to stop new drilling, that is a separate question. I’m not sure this line of questioning makes sense.

I love Katie Porter, too. She exposes the truth that we all need to hear. It is a shame that the president and Congress are complicit in Big Oil's take over of our public land for the extraction of toxic fossil fuel. Our government continues to fail everyone except the top 1%.
