This week alone Elon Musk's fortune grew by $36 billion, yet he goes out full blast to criticize a proposed wealth tax on billionaires. Kinda makes you want to tax him a whole lot more, doesn't it?

It'd sure be nice if it wasn't the middle and poor class getting fucked over by unrealized capital gains taxes. Tell me, after paying that on our home value increasing, does the govt pay me back when the value goes down?

Thoughtful replies. The more you think about it you see what a hall of mirrors wealth generation is in America.

If you already own a mountain of gold..you want one more.
PEF humbly suggests it may make sense to stop subsidizing him with billions and billions of public dollars while also giving him favorable treatment by the regulators, politicians, etc. btw, do you know what happened to the copper?!?

Yes and while we’re at it tax you also. Millionaires shouldn’t exist any more than billionaires should.

Not if you understand why he grew richer... He could lose it all tomorrow

The problem with the tax on billionaires is it won't be a tax on billionaires. They will have many ways to get around it. It will end up being a tax on the middle class earners who are trying to better themselves.
