This week alone Elon Musk's fortune grew by $36 billion, yet he goes out full blast to criticize a proposed wealth tax on billionaires. Kinda makes you want to tax him a whole lot more, doesn't it?

Vindictiveness does not good tax policy make.

The wealthy already carry ~40% of the U.S. tax burden. And further, most of that "wealth" consists of things that aren't cash, like businesses, land, investments, charities and all the other stuff that keeps America running.

Our current chaotic state of affairs, is merely a reflection of living life underneath the negative influence of the self destructive, self deceptive, power seeking fear based human ego, instead of opening up our Hearts to the Inner Love, Peace & Wisdom coming from God!

When his whole company only exists because of public largesse. Tesla's only been profitable because of (misguided) subsidies on the vehicles.

Not really. His fortune grew on paper. When he sells he’ll pay taxes.

Trillion dollars of Uncollected tax money is far more important crisis than taxing wealthy billionaires, seemed to me. 20% of thousands and 30% of billions, difference is very stark and difficult to overcome. More you push more you lose. Billionaires are ready to cut it lose.
