This week alone Elon Musk's fortune grew by $36 billion, yet he goes out full blast to criticize a proposed wealth tax on billionaires. Kinda makes you want to tax him a whole lot more, doesn't it?

Sure punishing people’s attitudes toward taxation by using the power of the govt to take more of their property seems perfectly fine.

Let's tax his wealth by 98%. He'd still have enough to live for a million years very comfortably

How is it possible for one person net worth to grow by so much is such a short period of time??? cause it’s not possible if it’s done legally and ethically

It's capitalism itself that needs to go.

Taxing him a bit more wont stop him. His companies won’t fold,he won’t stop developing his ideas/companies or increasing his assets etc.. His wealth will continue to grow. But government spending on infrastructure,education,health..etc will be improved for the benefit of all.

SO WE SHOULD TAX SUCCES? THE MORE SUCCESSFUL YOU ARE THE MORE YOU SHOULD BE PUNISHED? I AM SURE THAT WILL INCENTIVIZE PEOPLE TO ACHIEVE THINGS OF GRANDEUR! 👍

His wealth grew by $36 billion and he paid ZERO in taxes. THAT'S what makes me want to tax him more!

For the years 1944 through 1963 the highest average tax rate was about 91% ... Biden is only proposing a 39.6% top tax rate ... WE CAN ALWAYS GO BACK TO 91% ...

The US has absolutely the worst disparity between wealth and ordinary income in the democratic world. Poor Elon Musk, guess even taxing him wouldn’t prevent him from boyhood space aspirations.
