This week alone Elon Musk's fortune grew by $36 billion, yet he goes out full blast to criticize a proposed wealth tax on billionaires. Kinda makes you want to tax him a whole lot more, doesn't it?

You see the Warren Buffetts say we should increase income taxes. He knows he does not have to realize gains it doesn't affect him. Changes his tune when it comes to wealth tax. Wealth taxes are destructive and probably a bad idea overall but the hipocracy makes them tempting.

Sure, but the US government prints more than this on a weekly basis. So what's the point of taxing?

No it doesn’t because I am not a psychopath. @elonmusk has done more for this country in the last week than you have done in your lifetime so take several seats and stop being jealous. Why don’t you just pay extra taxes yourself? You’ve got plenty of money so just do it.

No. The tax code is too top heavy already. The top 10% of earners pay 40% of the income tax. The bottom 50% of earners pay net zero. I’m in for the government to stop subsidizing electric cars that only the well off can afford though.
