Why in the hell are you so hell bent on giving a centralized government this kind of power. It’s not about the billionaires as much as it is about not giving govt that kind of power.

Because the hording of money, like the hording of anything ...really, is a psychological illness.

They truly believe their entitlement to decide how to spend the product of our people's endeavor and labor is justified by their presumed superior capabilities. Very many go along with the absurd idea "only they could do it" because of the mythologies celebrity. Stop idolizing.

Capitalism demands they consolidate as many resources as capital as possible to maintain an army of desperate workers barely clinging to survival. Those workers are easier to exploit. Billionaires are the adversaries of the working class. Their interests are opposed to ours.

Because they are selfish people

Greed is a disease
