So important. If we would spend much more on what happens in the first years of life we’d spend much, much less on problems that develop later on.
The U.S. is an outlier in its low levels of financial support for young children’s care. Rich countries contribute an average of $14,000 per year for a toddler’s care, compared with $500 in the U.S. nyti.ms/3GgXjDA

Yes, but how many illegal migrants are crossing the border in these other countries? How can the US spend as much as them, when our system is overwhelmed with migration? I would like to see us find a way to do this, but how when we have so many more to pay for?

You are very good at educating people ... If our citizens could see the wasted treasure that's going into Defense ... and how if we just took a small portion and invested it in our Children ... we would still be spending more on defense than the next 10 Countries combined!

Why isn’t the government embarrassed & appalled by this information. With the so called “family values” BS they peddle to the citizens & the rest of the world? #Shameful #Disgraceful

When the daycare industry can afford lobbyists to buy politicians like the military industries does, then we'll get child care.

Hmm… I wonder how much money Pfizer will make from government-mandated vaccinations. And I wonder if that revenue will go towards bettering child development or into R&D for the next McDonald’s-induced pandemic. Almost seems like big pharma just keeps winning while we lose.

The way the bill is written now, it will mean higher childcare costs for the middle class.
