Not one to defend terrible Republican labour policies, but this bill just allows 14 year olds to work flexible hours (aimed towards family businesses). They still can only work 3 hours on school days and 8 on the rest, as per federal law.

OMG is right! We are headed back to child labor now! When will this insanity stop?

Let's just wait and see how many parents send their 14 yr old Child to work those hours and shit wages. There must be an Orwellian concept somewhere....that describes what we have become. I'm gonna go throw up now. We need Opus right now.

Again....America is the richest country on the planet and it would rather employ 14 yr olds to late shift hrs than pay a 'living' wage

If kids want to work later, particularly over the summer, I don't see the problem.
