At $3.5T to be spent over ten years, Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan is $350B a year. Manchin, Sinema, McConnell etc consider it “exorbitant spending” - but agree to more than twice that - $780B in defense spending each year - without batting an eye.

Yeah but Manchin and Sinema are Democrats, and everything they do has the blessing of Chuck and Nancy and the entire Democrat misleadership. This ruse is designed to obfuscate the fact that Democrats and Republicans have the same bloodsucking capitalist agenda.

I'm guessing many people are turned off by the fact that Biden chose to name this plan after that dumb WEF slogan. There could be good stuff in it, but I haven't given this plan an ounce of my attention because 'Build Back Better' reeks of ill intentions.

I’m confused how this works if they’re only in power for 4 years. Can’t it just be overturned if the republicans get in?

Ignore the fact that Biden has already spend about 6 trillion this year. And that analysts had exposed that this bill will spend well over 5 trillion. And this is all in Biden year 1. We don't buy that this won't happen ever year from here on out.
It strikes me as hypocritical in extremis They must own incredibly aggressive personalities It’s a shame politics allows these bugs to climb so high I have £0.41p in my account What goes up must come down What goes around comes around
So does most of both parties. We are living in a massive tragedy.

We should abandon the Build Back Better and cut 80% of the defense budget... THAT would be a GREAT way to start building America back better!!
Platitudes in the land of criminals #MOVETHEDECIMALPOINT Let's build something worth spending $750B a year defending Our Deregulated Power Grid is a mess needs about $1.5T all by itself If we're gonna drive electric cars, we'll need electricity & a grid that distributes it💡🔌
