At $3.5T to be spent over ten years, Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan is $350B a year. Manchin, Sinema, McConnell etc consider it “exorbitant spending” - but agree to more than twice that - $780B in defense spending each year - without batting an eye.

I wish everyone would refer to it as WAR spending, not defense spending. The US military does not squander all that money to defend the US, it does it to build the empire.

🤔 so why don’t the rest of the “lawmakers” refuse to spend on defense and hold up everything in return. As demonstrated, it only takes a few to fuck it all up

They call it defense spending but we shouldn't. It's really war-making spending.

We know this is not about the dollar amount. It’s about their own self interest.
People need to be smarter about who they elect. If you're making political choices by watching MSM, we will have nothing but corporate politicians and it only gets worse.

The crazy part about our government is that it's beginning to be very outwardly corrupt meaning they don't care that the citizens know what's going on. They don't respect the voters.

If Biden wanted to pass BBB he would be doing interviews describing the benefits in WV and AZ. Schumer would be threatening taking away committee appointments and DNCC support. They haven’t so we can assume they support Manchin & Sinema playing rotating villains.
