Trump issues a chilling statement just now that makes clear his stance on peaceful democracy vs. violent insurrection: "The insurrection took place on November 3, Election Day. January 6 was the Protest!"

1/6 was a protest. Someone in Congress removed security and they were let in. No one charged with insurrection.

I wish we'd all ramp down the rhetoric. If 1/6 truly was an "insurrection" we'd still be mopping up the blood off the Capitol floors. While 11/3 was a Biden win, we still have huge issues with a voting system few trust.
