To change from a war economy to a peace economy; from a dirty economy to a clean energy economy; from an economic to a humanitarian bottom line. These things are not utopian ideals; they are the only survivable option for the human race.

These are correct goals to aspire to but, it must be remembered that without an economic bottom line it is difficult to impossible to achieve a great humanitarian bottom line.

America was willing to spend $300 Million a day for 20 yrs in Afghanistan. Trillions of dollars. And Trillions more for tax cuts for the rich. But when it comes to helping the planet & struggling Americans, they tighten the purse strings. We need a paradigm shift in thinking.
