These two cases were clearly not going to win, especially considering one was a non lethal tactical. We should always hold police accountable, but not put them in harm's way while doing so.

Marianne, this is not anything new, the police are there to protect those in power, anything on top of that is just extra. The state will use the police to suppress any form of revolt and they will protect officers who perform their duties to the fullest extent possible.

The fact that we give a group of people with 6 months of training guns to kill other people at their discretion, unpenalized, for breaking our made-up laws is deeply demented, and very colonial.
