Saying we shouldn’t cancel the college loan debt because it would be unfair to the people who already paid theirs, is like saying we shouldn’t legalize marijuana because it would be unfair to the people who served prison time for it. It’s ridiculous.

Umm this doesn't make sense. People aren't willingly imprisoned... Loans are a choice.

They want to keep us down, want to keep us underground. They wish we were able to be better controlled. They are pissed that more people are finally opening their eyes to see the manipulation they have created in our nation. It's both political parties bcuz they are all besties!

Also let the PPL out who sold Marijuana. The #Sackler family murdered 100s of PPL, destroyed their lives. Still walking free. White Privilege for the rich and connected. (In 2017 alone, 47,600 involved an opioid). #SacklerCrimeFamily

How about the colleges use those massive endowments to cover some of that debt? Or how about stopping predatory lending and exorbitant financing costs? But I guess hand outs are easier, eh?

it’s a tax on people who didn’t get the benefit of college. It’s a tax on the poor, to benefit the wealthy. It’s criminal parents suggest their children get a degree without clear returns. I sat down and calculated returns. I didn’t party. Should I pay a tax for working hard?

We shouldn't cancel college loan debt because you're not special. Everyone else had to pay their debt. So can you. If you were stupid enough to borrow a hundred grand for an art degree or some other nonsensical degree, that's on you. Bet you don't make that mistake again.

You took out the loan, so you are responsible for repayment not the taxpayers.

It's very unjust to working-class people who never had a chance to go to college. Bailing out middle-class people is unfair unless a provision is made for poorer people - like mortgage forgiveness or a generous home loan.
