Saying we shouldn’t cancel the college loan debt because it would be unfair to the people who already paid theirs, is like saying we shouldn’t legalize marijuana because it would be unfair to the people who served prison time for it. It’s ridiculous.

Essentially, it is about equity and access and development of collective resources to maximum potential. Those countries with the best education systems will dominate the 21st century. We have a choice today. Tomorrow, maybe not.

Like saying we shouldn’t outlaw slavery Bc it’s disrespectful to enslaved people who were never liberated.

Simple solutions: free the people still serving for marijuana offenses and compensate everyone for time served and refund all student loan payments. How to pay for it? Reduce the Pentagon Budget by 15% for one year.

Ridiculous! I repaid my student loans and I STILL want to see $50,000 in student loan debts cancelled. Level the damned playing field for EVERYONE.
