Saying we shouldn’t cancel the college loan debt because it would be unfair to the people who already paid theirs, is like saying we shouldn’t legalize marijuana because it would be unfair to the people who served prison time for it. It’s ridiculous.

It’s as absurd as wanting to legalize marijuana and erase loan debt and being a Biden voter.

Freeing slaves was not fair to people who died before they were freed

The UK has zero interest loans that get written off if students never earn enough to pay. The government charging 8% to children but much lower to banks is disgusting.

Or we can all get our college loans refunded to us, and buy federally decriminalized legal Marijuana. With my refund, I could buy a shitload of dope! That would be the better plan! 👊👌

It's ridiculous to not be able to legislate a day in the future when college will be free without having to debate paying off a generation of haves who saw risk/reward benefit (and are often reaping the rewards) while have nots couldn't see taking the risk. Level the field.

Maybe to make it fair, the government should pay off 1 loan for every American up to a certain amount. College, car, home improvement, etc.

Developing the vaccine is unfair to those who already died from the virus.
