Joe Manchin gets $500,000 a year from one of the dirtiest coal plants in West Virginia, and he’s demanding that Democrats gut their climate agenda. One corrupt politician is holding back the world.

@AOC how is this even happening? How does the government expect people to have any faith in y’all? We’re literally being sacrificed. Lmao! I laugh to keep from raging tbh.

Seriously Marianne, it's a political party, they knew what they had in Joe Manchin long before this, didn't they?

can west virginia (arizona?) stage a recall? slippery slope for sure, but politicians need to know there are larger things in the world than their own pockets; & that the reason they were elected is to work *for* the people(!), not against them.

Yes ... Manchin is and has acquired lots of money from "Dirty Energy" ... and when he retires he'll get to KEEP all that money ... Eventually, West Virginians will need good, environmentally clean, high paying jobs ... why not now!

This would be like someone being astounded that someone from Detroit has ties to the auto industry or a representative from Oregon took money from Nike. West Virginia is coal country. He was elected by coal minors to protect coal mining. That’s literally his job. This is elitist
I'm pretty convinced there are some others, too, holding back...
