Assange is not being prosecuted for anything related to the 2016 election. He is being prosecuted for exposing official lies, corruption and war crimes concerning the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I don't like how possibly Russia uses Assange as a useful tool. However, it's wrong and corrupt how he's being abused. He is still an important source holding our governments to account. He should be a free man and compensated for the abuse he's experiencing
