It’s always moving to me the way Bernie fights for dental care, hearing aids and glasses for older people. It’s so important. Younger people might not always realize how much not having those things keeps millions of people from being able to engage with life in a meaningful way.

Obama was the first President to incorporate dental care as part of overall health concerns. Bad teeth and gums can poison organs and body. Also you can’t expect to get a decent job with missing teeth? Lack of good dental care will keep you down and out.

My grandma can’t afford her hearing aids and it’s making her depressed bc she can’t communicate with people. Her insurance will cover ear implant surgery but it’s dangerous for someone her age. This has to change.
