It’s always moving to me the way Bernie fights for dental care, hearing aids and glasses for older people. It’s so important. Younger people might not always realize how much not having those things keeps millions of people from being able to engage with life in a meaningful way.

It's pointless for Bernie to try enacting meaningful change within a Democratic party so wedded to market fundamentalism that it puts business before humanity.

No more 'fight'. We cannot elect and seat politicians that 'fight'. We need them to get things done-now. Americans cannot, will not keep waiting.

Do you remember when Bernie dropped out and endorsed the guy who promised to veto M4A? I do.

Sound’s like 3 industries the United States can capitalize on…didn’t they say something about a debt?

a little less moving being a tad younger than 65 but by no means "young" remembering him fighting for universal healthcare while paying for insurance every month but being terrified daily about getting older and putting off med things that should be addressed but can't afford.

...but, wealthy people may not always realize how much not being able to afford to go to the doctor when needed keeps millions of people from being able to engage with being alive.

expanding medicare to age 65 is a far cry from medicare for all. many of us will more than likely not make it to "expanded" medicare eligibility because we can't afford to go to the doctor when needed.

Mari, the only reason the Zoomers DON'T understand this is bc they've spent their entire lives chained by debt without all these things because the generation before them spent decades living The Good Life when they were young and sticking them with the bill before they were born.

Young people must watch the Roosevelts an intimate history by Ken Burns to understand the royalist will screw everything to gain money

Yes I forgot, younger people don't have teeth and ears and eyes to worry about.
