“segregation existed ... then it did not.” have you heard about new york or los angeles in 2021, where the majority of young black people cannot participate in society due to mandates? segregation exists more than ever.

Yes. And we, the powerful people, need to reject the division being cast upon us by those fearful of a united public. We are dividing ourselves as fast as the political leadership is finding new ways to divide us. Love will build a bridge.

“it will take a miracle to get us out of the jam we’re in now.” amen. we will pray for that exactly. as you have so wisely said, that miracle will not come from the people who got us into this ditch to begin with.

@marwilliamson Hi Marianne, you might not remember me, but I shared one of my quotes from one of my books with you three years ago. I am arguably the hottest non-fiction author under 50 at age 32. I use your famous quote in two of my books. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas…

WE COULD HAVE, not "we have", the faith required to fuel the victory of King's "demands" in Breaking The Silence. King questioned our faith there, and we've come up grossly lacking. So: be of faith, hearty health, and good cheer: for the times, they are a-changing🙂 ♥️💪🏼♥️
