The real dichotomy now is not between left and right; that’s sort of a smokescreen. The real dichotomy is between corporate and non-corporate. It’s not really a duopoly so much as a monopoly of corporate power with two wings.

No. It’s between gullible pawn and self determined actor. The nation is filled with the former.

So you are finally figuring out that we actually have one corporate owned party in this country, supported by one corporate owned media, all of them doing their best to turn a majority of our citizens into surfs? And perhaps a few honest politicians, howling in the wind. Congrats

The real dichotomy is between capitalism and humanity. There’s no capitalist solution to our problems and capitalism can’t be reformed or constrained. We need a new economic model free of the profit incentive.

"EVERYTHING, EVERY PROBLEM IN THIS COUNTRY TRACES BACK TO CAPITALISM". People need to wake up, unless you're an "owner" in this country you are in a game that is impossible to win, corporations rigged the game generations ago.

"The real dichotomy is between corporate and non-corporate." In what space is this a winning argument? White Baby Boomers who read the Nation and come from Rust Belt states?

Don't libertarians (i.e. Bork) assert that monopolies are a sign of economic strength?

So stop telling me to vote for one of the wings.

It's both. The ruling class wants the poor to obey or die. The fascists, many of whom are working class, want leftists (meaning anyone left of Hitler) dead. The two are not mutually exclusive.

It’s a class war. Period.
