The same people who talk about $3.5T (to be spent over a period of 10 years) like it’s some huge tsunami of irresponsible spending, casually and automatically renew a $780B defense budget every year and we’re not even supposed to ask questions.

And we aren't even at war .... supposedly. But the #MilitaryIndustrialComplex and their lobbying allies are STRONG. Imagine if we just cut their budget by 25%. We'd still spend enormously too much and be incredibly secure.

Ask them where our $21 trillion is ? Between 1998 - 2015 they lost over $1 trillion a year. That would go a long way toward much needed climate action and social programs.
