Biden and the DNC must stop supporting ... BIG OIL ... before it kills us and all living things!

I keep telling people that it's mostly care-less-ness. I've seen it. A lot. I really don't think that the problem is recklessness or stupidity or anything else. It's just a complete self- absorbed lack of care. But nobody cares what I or anyone else thinks anyway.

It’s so sad. And preventable. And we’re going to have to change our lives. And shut these pipelines down. The UN said we must take “immediate” action to stop fossil fuels.

Petroleum is used in so many things humans consume: gasoline, plastic, clothing, etc. We need a complete overhaul of our lifestyle, not just ending gasoline usage. Consume less = less garbage & practice RRR: reuse, repurpose, recycle.

Excellent article. For God's sake, we need to move away from oil now. Stop fossil fuel subsidies. Stop Line 3. We need WW II determination to move away from oil & gas and as you say, give workers "every chance for lateral economic opportunity." We can do this. We must do this.

Network news needs to connect the dots to the deeper issues/dangers of fossil fuels like your article does. Env. issues require more than just reporting on the effects without connecting the dots to the underlying causes. People need the full story to take informed action.
