What are called "far left" positions in America today are considered moderate in any other advanced democracy. What are called "moderate" positions in America today would be considered conservative. And Republican positions in America today would be considered extreme right wing

Not true. Your open border policies would not be acceptable to many left wing governments around the world.

This false, left-right dichotomy is not serving us.. People are more complex.. Politics is more complex.. The language we use in speaking about various political and economic spectrums of thought (as simply left vs right) only reinforces existing power structures.

There is a damn good reason the document that forms your governments, The Constitution of the USA,, mentioned nothing of political parties and today's America is exactly way!!! United we stand divided we will fall!!!

This is correct. In Canada (not too far from you guys), we have a social Democratic Party that keeps the right-wingers in check, so we have universal healthcare, paid parental leaves, workers' rights and much more. You guys in the USA are so extreme, it's nuts.
