Much of it is spent on subsidizing cutting edge tech.

It’s defending us against the stupidity of the left because as it stands now, we’re only a heartbeat away from another 9/11.

780 Billion a year not to mention the 300 Million spent EVERY DAY for 20 years in Afghanistan, plus the Trillions given to the rich with the Bush & Trump tax cuts. Anyone who says we cannot afford to help struggling Americans is a liar & paid off by their corporate masters.

We are defending access to global resources without which there would be no significant wealth to spend, and propping up countries such as Taiwan and Israel that would otherwise face invasion and genocide, I think.
