It's "defending" us against universal healthcare, free public college, improved infrastructure, a higher standard of living for 99% of Americans...

Suggestion: don't refer to it as defense anymore, because it's not defense spending to defend the US. It's offensive spending for sure, it's military, and war, and imperialist, spending.
